In Scarborough, the
Eastern Trail is a widely celebrated multi-use recreational corridor known for its scenic views of the Scarborough Marsh, the largest salt marsh in Maine.
The trail is open year-round for walking, biking, running, and birdwatching.
Founded in 1977, SLT has protected more than 1,500 acres to date, and has created public trails on the six properties that offer public access to diverse habitats like forests, fields, and wetlands. Check out a detailed map of each trail.
